Pittlesden Cottage – Ideal Location - Tenterden

Great location, needs updating. Positive: The property has a great location, just off the High Street - very helpful for enjoying our stay. Bathroom clean, tidy and shower straight forward. Neighbours very friendly and helpful. Negative: Arriving late in the year (end Nov), it was cold with the ambient inside temp set at only 13c. It took 8 hours to raise this to a more comfortable 19c/20c. The living room furniture is old and tired, which has left it uncomfortable. While the electric fire did not work and left unplugged, which suggests a fault.

Positive: Great location, nice and clean, was a great stay.

Very convenient for the centre of Tenterden, which is a lovely little town. Positive: The property is very well located for the town centre. The kitchen is well equipped for self catering. The Wi-Fi is good. Very friendly, helpful neighbours. Negative: The parking spot is a bit tight. The bed was a little uncomfortable. No lock on the bathroom.

Positive: Mews house on a quiet lane behind the High Street. Within easy walking distance of all the shops and cafes. Tenterden is a lovely location and very close to many interesting places. The property was immaculately clean and very well equipped. The local staff could not have been more helpful when we locked ourselves out the first morning. Negative: Nothing to dislike.

Positive: Good location. Clean. Nicely done. Negative: Parking is tight, I was fine with my very small car but would have struggled in anything bigger. Nowhere to sit outside in the hot weather. Back room mattress was uncomfortable.
