Benson House – Prime Location – Rye Town Centre

Beautiful house, the perfect location Positive: This is a very special house! Heaps of space, and very well thought out with lots of areas to hangout in and spend time together in. Really nicely decorated, and the location could not be more perfect. Very responsive, friendly and helpful hosts - we had an absolute blast staying here. Our three year old loved the baby seagulls that visited the attic room.

We had a great time meeting up as a group. The house had lots of social space. Positive: Location was excellent. No more than a 5 minute walk to the best of Rye. Negative: A few more provisions in the kitchen like kitchen roll and washing up liquid needed. Some light bulbs need replacing.

We all so enjoyed our time here. A special place to celebrate a 70th birthday!. Everything one could wish for in a beautifully appointed, character property, with a wide prospect, in an ancient village The family all felt happy and relaxed; quite a feat given the age ranges from a new ubaby to over 70!

Disappointing... Positive: Great location and layout Negative: Property is very tired and tatty. Cleaning also of a below adequate standard. Feels very unloved: stained carpets, tatty furniture and chipped paint. Bathrooms on first floor lack water pressure for showers and are of very dated appearance. Overall the place was disappointing on arrival as doesn't feel like it has been painted/updated in years
