Benson House – Prime Location – Rye Town Centre

We had a great trip. The house is a great size and is in a great location - central but lovely and quiet. The kitchen was spacious and it was great to have a separate dining room. The bedrooms were huge and en-suite which was also great. The terrace catches the sun in the morning and the weather was good enough to have breakfast outside.

Delightful and spacious Positive: Huge rooms and massive space. Plenty of room for a large group and more... Negative: Carpets are looking a bit grubby in places

This is a period very clean, well furnished property in the heart of Rye’s historic centre. It has undergone substantial modernisation and whilst some further work might be planned the current facilities meet expectations. The rooms are all very generous in size with and the kitchen is very well equipped (but could perhaps do with an nespresso machine).Bathrooms are fine and function as expected. The principal bathroom has recently been refitted to a high standard including a walk-in shower with a straightforward electronic control .The accommodation is dog friendly and there were plenty of of signs that the owner is used to dogsParking outside is charegeable and limited to 2 hours from 9.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. however that means that if arriving at 4 p.m .it is possible to to stay parked until 11.00 a.m the next morning for two smallish fees. We had two cars and by careful parking we were never more than 3 or 4 minutes away.We would happily stay here again if returning to the area

Another great stay in this lovely house. Location can’t be beaten, it’s clean, comfortable and well equipped.

Great location, needs updating/decorating/repairing in a few areas. Positive: Great location, large rooms, plenty of space. Negative: Decor needs updating, bit grubby, bathrooms need a lot of attention, painting, broken showers. Kitchen floor needs scrubbing.
