Ebb n Flow – Close to Beach – Winchelsea Beach

This is a restorative and relaxing place to stay Positive: A very peaceful location ,overlooking the marshes between us and the beach. Lovely walks across the nature reserve. the bungalow was very well equipped and felt welcoming. It was beautifully designed, comfortable with a friendly ambience. Negative: Before we arrived I needed to ask for electric fans to be provided in view of the exceptionally hot weather. The owner was kind enough to provide one. I feel this should now be standard in all properties as our summers appear to be getting hotter. The elderly and very young are particularly vulnerable if there is no cooling equipment provided..

Positive: Fantastische Lage für Ruhe, Entspannung, Wandern und Naturerlebnis. Küche mit Geschirr und Kochutensilien erstaunlich vielfältig ausgestattet. Negative: Mir fehlte eine Grundausstattung an Lebensmitteln ( Salz, Zucker, Gewürze)

Had a great trip and would go again Positive: Location was fantastic, and had everything you need! Negative: Err the road needs some work that leads to the property as it’s full of holes

3 Nights Only - wish it could have been more. Positive: Location is in an extremely quiet and peaceful setting adjacent to Rye Harbour Nature Reserve, with easy access to nearby shops, Rye and Rye Harbour. There are paths/cycle tracks running along the coast, with easy access to areas of the nature reserve and views of waterfowl and local flora. Negative: It would have been helpful to have been made aware that The Ridge is an unmetalled, potholed road which is difficult to drive along in low-bodied cars.

Relaxing, wonderfully comfortable and relaxing. Positive: Beautiful location, lovely and peaceful and a lovely air of relaxation. The property was very homely and comfortable, and we all felt nicely relaxed and at home. Negative: It was all great although I do wish I hadn't used my rather low sports car to get to the property, as the road has its fair share of pot holes and you must drive very carefully!
