MP709 - Camber Sands Holiday Park - 2B

A nice break but the entertainment areas have put us off coming again Positive: Felt very homely and cosy. Beds were comfortable. Loved the fact we had a washing machine too Negative: Was clean on the surface, but crumbs in draws, kitchen cupboard handles and very very dusty in cabinets and in tray under front room table. Kitchen units were greasy and needed cleaning once we got there. Park as a whole was filthy and needed lots of maintenance, especially entertainment areas. Toilets were smelly on the entertainment parts and always out of toilet roll.

We enjoyed it!!! Pleasant, done the job for our weekend away and superb private location. Positive: Lovely location, veranda is a must have for us and why we booked - will book again, plenty of room, towels and bedding provided. Takeaways delivered directly to van from the indian and fish and chip shop in Lydd. Negative: The cleaning wasn’t too great - old food kebab sticks left on veranda and old ash residue - duvets difficult to find in storage boxes hidden behind sofas and chairs, one chair leg at table wobbly and daughter fell off it - but not the end of the world, not put us off

Great Stay! Positive: It was very good value for the money and was well quipped and fairly clean on the whole. Loved that there was a bath tub. Check in was easy and the team were quick to come back if we had any issues. Negative: There was 6 of us and there wasnt enough pillow slips, nor was there enough duvet covers per person. there was alot of staining on the pullout bed in the living room which wasnt pleasant. There was also no hoover which we would have appreciated as we were a large group. However the team came as soon as possible with extra bedding which was lovely! The Oven also didnt work whilst we were there but no big deal. The caravan was really far from the entrance if we wanted to walk but no big deal.

Positive: Brreakfast n/a.. beach good Negative: Directions on site could be improved.

Positive: The place is cozy and quiet. All is good here except for hot water supply Negative: There was a constant problem with hot water supply
