LBL18 - Camber Sands Holiday Park - 3B

Positive: The location was perfect - it was just a short walk to the beach, the pool and the arcade, all of which kept the kids happy. The caravan was cosy and there were only three of us so we had more than enough room. Negative: It was advertised as having a balcony so I was expecting access to some decking but this wasn't the case. The front window did have a slight lip which, if this is considered the balcony, is very misleading. However, the worst part for me was the cleanliness in the kitchen. Almost every utensil, piece of cutlery, plate and bowl had food or residue from the previous guest/guests. I ended up pulling out a handful of items, washing and sterilising them and keeping them to one side to use during our stay. That was grim.

I had a wonderful time. Positive: I bought my kids so it was nice to see a lot of DVDs and toys for the children that really did help and it had all your kitchen facilities, utensils and stuff. The only thing I couldn’t find was a cheese grater. It was nice and clean and very tidy. Negative: The lock to the caravan was very hard to close at night time. It’s a little bit outdated but nothing to major.

Lovely short break Positive: Ease of access, location of caravan itself and of the resort more generally. Negative: The caravan was clean and well maintained but a little bit dated in terms of decor and materials. Outside furniture would have been good.

Negative: Could feel springs in single mattress Washing line doesn’t stay up even with water weight Battled to lock door.
