Positive: We made our own food self catering

We had a wonderful stay here for just 3 nights and wish we could have stayed longer!The Lodge was exactly as listed and set right back away from the entertainment so not noisy at all, in fact very peaceful and lovely views.Beautifully clean with everything we needed for our stay. And the owner couldn’t have been more helpful when we contacted to say that the airer was broken and there was no ironing board.. messaged back swiftly and got straight over with new ones! Beds were comfy and sofas great too.Will book again when not holidaying with our little dog, although he would have loved it here too.Book up, you won’t regret it!

Property was spotlessly clean beding and towels were left out ready for us on arrival location of lodge was in a quiet part of park which was exactly what we wanted . Peter the owner was very helpful. Would stay here again .

Positive: The place was as pictured. It was clean and stylish, I like that it was modern and everything was in good working order. Negative: It was difficult to find the location of the lodge and when I called up customer service to get directions the women was abrupt and was clearly irritated that I didn't know where to go

Positive: The lodge was lovely, but there were short white dog hairs on the carpet and it smelt of a pet. We know because my daughter is allergic to cat and dog hairs and her eyes puffed up. We chose this lodge because it was advertised as being pet-free, but clearly a pet has stayed there recently The bathroom smelt very damp, so suspect somebody had let a bath overflow which is a shame. A dehumidifier placed in there may help dry it out. One of the pillows was badly stained, the flooring under the sofas had dust, crumbs and a couple of pencils left under them, so not hoovered, and the top grill pan had been left unwashed. But the location of the lodge was lovely, and instructions regarding the key etc all good. Just wanted to flag up the pet issue and the less than brilliant cleaning, as these small details, when overlooked can have a bit impact on the quality of some guest's stay, particularly if they have allergies. But thank you anyway.
